To mark the International Day of the Child (November 20), Network for Rural Missions (NRM) organized a Reading and Spelling Competition for 10 schools (5 primary and 5 JHS) in Nakpanduri. This initiative aimed to encourage literacy, comprehension, and self-expression among students, equipping them with essential skills for academic and personal growth.
Beyond the competition, NRM is supporting the formation of school reading clubs to sustain interest in reading and help students build confidence in communication. We believe that strong literacy skills empower children to engage meaningfully with their education and communities.
NRM remains committed to creating more opportunities for children in rural areas to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. We are also open to partnerships that can help us supply more books to rural and remote communities in northern Ghana. By working together, we can ensure that even more children have access to the learning materials they need to succeed. If you’re interested in partnering with us, we’d love to connect.
